So, how is everyone doing?
The final exams are final over! I'm still waiting for the remedial results, though.
What sucks is that the math remedial is on dec 5th, the day after my seventeenth birthday party.
So yeah, i'm really anxious hoping that very few people will be on the remedial.
This is gonna be next to impossible since the math exam was...well, to say it was difficult is a complete understatement.
And some of my friends abroad aren't coming: Melinda, Yennifer, and Doni.
Melinda's got a trip 'till Dec 9th, Yennifer's in US so she still have school, and Doni actually said he could, but he couldn't get a flight home so it looks like he's not gonna be coming.
I'm praying everyday that despite all of these problems my party will turn out great.
I've been taking some random shots at home and at night from my car. I love taking pictures of light trails at night! You can just sort of move your camera around and the light trails are unpredictable yet really beautiful. I'm still learning on how to use the light trails to make shapes like heart, or even my name. And still learning the panning technique. I know, still need to work on a LOT on my photography skills.
As you know I've always loved designing. Be it web design, digital scrapbooking, photo editing, or film editing. Recently, I've been working on invitation designs to kill my spare time.
At first it started when I went to LOVESTORY Design to make my 17th birthday invitation.
When I was at their showroom, I was really awed by all those invitations. They were really cute I could spend all day just seeing all those invitations one by one.
From there I just became more interested on designing invitation.
I think it can be a profitable business since invitations nowadays don't cost cheap.
I've been designing some invitations for Teh's birthday party and Jackque's mom.
I didn't know whose invitation to design so ended up making some designs using my name.
FYI, this is NOT a real invitation. And no, my party won't be held on the Pavilion.
The invitation shown above was my first design. I love playing with font sizes!
I've also been intensely watching a lot of TV Series. I just found out that I have a LOT of DVDs I haven't watched. I have been aware of this for quite some time, but the problem is, every time I go to Pasar Atom, I always have this urge to buy more DVDs!
I finished watching Teen Wolf yesterday. It was good. Like, you're watching a horror movie without the ghosts and gory details. Every episode is more thrilling than the last one. Definitely on this year's Best TV Series nominee.
As for my latest obsession, I'm currently addicted to this old TV Series ALIAS.
The main character is Sydney Bristow. Sydney is a secret agent working for SD-6, an organization which she thought was a covert branch of the CIA. When she told her fiancé that she's CIA, the SD-6 killed him. That's when she found out that SD-6 is actually not a branch of the CIA, it's the enemy that CIA has been hunting down. So now Sydney is working for the real CIA, becoming a double agent, working together with CIA to bring down SD-6.
At first I'm attracted by the promos I saw once in a while on TV. It shows how Jennifer Garner (Sydney) is always changing her looks and her hairstyle, and I thought, "This must be great". So I bought the first 2 seasons and well, the first 2 episodes already got me hooked.
Each episode always ends with a cliffhanger so it's like, you have to watch the next episode!
As much as I love Sydney, I have to admit that I envy her. I mean, she's got two hot guys pining over her, and both are just super gorgeous. The first is Bradley Cooper, playing the role of Will Tippin, Sydney's best friend. The second is Michael Vartan (yes he's old but I find him really good looking!!) playing as Michael Vaughn, a CIA agent and Sydney's "handler" (so he basically tells Sydney what to do for the CIA when she's on her mission)
Oh, and the series was created by J.J Abrams. Yes, he is the man who brings you Lost, Hawaii Five-O, the Star Trek movie, and Mission Impossible 3. I'm beginning to be a fan of his works. This man is truly genius for creating all of the TV shows and movies I love!
