and of course, the harpot movie review!

HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS, PART 2 (10 out of 5)
cast: daniel radcliffe, emma watson, rupert grint, ralph fiennes
synopsis: The final chapter begins as Harry, Ron, and Hermione continue their quest of finding and destroying the Dark Lord's three remaining Horcruxes, the magical items responsible for his immortality. But as the mystical Deathly Hallows are uncovered, and Voldemort finds out about their mission, the biggest battle begins and life as they know it will never be the same again (imdb.com)
review: i can't even begin to describe how good it was. i was super excited and sad at the same time, knowing that this was gonna be my last experience of watching harry potter. i kinda love having to put a lot of effort just for getting the tickets, and that proud feeling when i've gotten the tickets...and the excitement that i felt waiting for the movie to come out. the movie itself was undoubtedly amazing. the book is still so much better, but it's definitely a more-than-decent way to end the series. although the plot was tense, but there were still lots of funny moments (not my daughter, you bitch!) and tearful moments (lily? after all this time? "always"). i kinda wished voldemort's death would've been more complicated, but it's not really a problem. the point is, harry potter is something you can watch over and over again, for the next 20 years, and will still like. it is definitely a classic.
favorite scenes: the snape's memory scenes. who didn't cry seeing those? the way he cried and hugged lily right after voldemort killed her? i cried my heart out. seeing fred's body was bad enough, but what made my cry was seeing lupin and tonks's bodies, laying side by side. really sad! oh, and the 19 years later scene: harry's kids were ADORABLE (i wish albus severus potter were MY brother), and hermione looked like he hasn't aged a bit!
